When you or whomever pulls it apart to pay attention to if the bottom of the idler is sitting flush to the intake. Im wondering if the idler is getting put on and not being flush to the manifold. I know if you are not carefull you can get the rear timing cover under the idler a little bit IE not getting it in the hole in the cover instead getting a little bit of the cover caught behind the idler. Then when you torque the idler down it cocks it a little sideways and later on the stud snaps.. Please keep me updated on this if you can...
